SE 36th and Hawthorne. So simple and classy, great length to the skirt, and we especially loved her watch. A well-placed lustrous accessory can do wonders!
NW 13th and Hoyt. Untucked and unbuttoned and giving a perfect air of summer mischief and lightness. The pipe immediately piqued our interest, and his jovial demeanor sealed the deal.
SW 10th and Stark. Jon is a perfect example of the power of carrying oneself confidently. Despite the fact that his outfit is not particularly unique, he still totally nails the fit and colors, and his sunglasses perfectly underscore his cheeky spirit.
SE 36th and Hawthorne. This was an especially hot day, and Twyla perfectly captured the contagious optimism that the rare sunshine brings to Portland.
SW 5th and Oak. We immediately loved Alex’s look. His coifed hair is an unexpected accent to his casual attire; the contrast seems deliberate and works perfectly.
SW 2nd and Taylor. We thought Holly’s outfit was particularly striking because her dress subtly alludes to period clothing, but melds perfectly with her casual shoes and tights. It’s also nice to see an outfit that is at once modest and flattering.
NW 13th and Couch. These two caught our eye at the end of a stroll because both managed to create a coherent aesthetic from head to toe. In this case, no single element of either outfit was particularly striking, yet the overall effect was perfect. Oh, and they’re from Amsterdam, which somehow didn’t surprise us.
SW 5th & Alder. Laura’s gold watch and amazing shoes caught our eye. Also, she’s wearing a lace romper!
